Celebrity diets are actually quite healthy and are based on the latest science. We know that low GI (Glycaemic Index) foods can help you feel fuller for longer and as a result you can end up eating less over the day, which helps you lose weight.

The Catherine Zeta-Jones diet has lots of rules and regulations but surprisingly, champagne is allowed. You can't eat starchy foods with high protein foods, which means you can't eat pasta with meat, you can't have ham on your sandwich and you can't have fruit on your cereals.

The Renee Zellweger diet doesn't allow any alcohol at all.

There's a variety of food, so you've got fruits, vegetables, wholegrains; you've got fish and chicken, lean meats as well.

Then there's the Kim Catrall eating plan, which claims to help restore a youthful-looking appearance, but you'll be eating loads of fish. This diet includes three fish meals a day, so after a week, even if you're a fish lover, you might be turned off fish for life.

The Jennifer Aniston celebrity diet includes eating lots of meat and cheese. There are some vegetables but a very limited range and there's no fruit and there's no grains so it's really important to keep your fibre up.
