The diet Dr Phil espouses is primarily focused on getting control of your life by controlling your diet. Dr Phil does not track your carbohydrates or proteins or fats. He says that if you are overweight, you are out of control and by changing the way you think and re-establishing that control, the weight will come off as you change the way you think about dieting, food, and your health.
